Ragdoll / Alicia Ember Twenty five year old Alicia Ember appears to be an unassuming history professor. History became Alicia's passion, growing up enthralled by the strange stories of Ember family history and in particular the legend of Olena told by her grandmother Nadine. Returning to her ancestral home Alicia discovers the truth behind the tale. Olena's legendary garments hidden within a secret room come to light with the manifestation of Olena's spirit. Olena warns and prepares Alicia as the minions of a sinister cult attempt to acquire her legacy. With Olena'a guidance Alicia creates her Ragdoll identity. The costume renders its wearer impervious to physical harm. Additionally Olena's diary spell book details incantations which may be used on the costume with these effects: Fireskin: Causes the costume to burn with a sheath of fire. Chameleon: Changes the appearance of the costume. Seeker Enhances the senses of the costume's wearer. Animate: Allows the wearer to animate the empty costume. Death: Touch The most dangerous of the costume's spells, causes anything the wearer touches to die on immediate contact. A weaker version can paralyze but is difficult to control. Incantations must be spoken, and the wearer must pay a price in their own blood for invocation applied to the garment at the time of casting. The caster must be a blood descendant of Olena for these spells to work. Whenever blood gets on the costume it is completely and immediately 'absorbed' soaking into the fabric to leave no trace. Spells only last for a limited period of time, usually a few hours and may only be used once a day. Certain spells are only available during specific seasons and astrological conditions. The costume does not fray, age or get dirty, eventually repelling anything that sticks to it. The magic of the costume is so powerful that without masking spells that must be renewed regularly it is easily detectable to anyone of strong mystical ability who will be driven to possess it.
