"A sentient being floated majestically upward and out of the passageway entrance, as if carried by the planet's surface itself. His garb appeared tribal in nature: robed and adorned with all manner of runes, beads, and cryptic symbols. He raised a gnarled staff inscribed with intricate carvings above his head. It began to glow. As the light grew brighter, Corben had to shield his eyes. It was the last thing he remembered for a long time."

Corben awakens to find himself underground once again. His robed acquaintance, Maitz, and a small group of survivors are fascinated by Corben's presence. Visitors of off-world origin are non-existent in this place, so they have many questions for one another.
